The Hut TX follows the techniques and curriculum of the Ellis Schools of Traditional Aikido (ESTA). Techniques are practiced from a strong static grip as well as dynamic attacks with an emphasis on practical application for self defense. This Dojo, as well as any ESTA Dojo in the US and Europe, believe Aikido is a martial art and is practiced as such.
